Vinyāsa Krama Ethics

  1. Beneficence – Be of practical benefit for the student and cause no harm.

  2. Autonomy – The student has the right to reject the treatment or instruction.

  3. Respect – The student and teacher are to be treated with respect.

  4. Informed Consent – The student should be advised about the practice or technique in advance, as much as is practical. The latter also applies to any fees involved.

  5. Justice – Fair treatment of all students regardless of age, ability, race, or sex.

Guidelines

Practice Guidelines

  • Avoid eating for at least two hours before class.

  • Refrain from drinking water 30 minutes before practice.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

  • For menstruating individuals: Please attend only the Chandra Krama series during your period (the first three days). It’s important to avoid tamasic (yang) practices during this time. Most importantly, listen to your body and honor how you feel.

  • No shoes or socks on the mat.

  • Bring your own towel, this is required for adjustments

I’m here to support your practice every step of the way — thank you for helping create a focused and connected class environment.

Looking forward to practicing together!

Booking
  • Students should arrive to arrive 10 minutes before class is due to start.

  • Class will start at the time on the class booking.

  • Class should not be disrupted for late individuals.

  • Make sure you book a class that you are able to attend on time

  • All classes must be booked in advance via the online booking system.

Capacity

The studio has a maximum capacity of 8 students, and a class space is only secured once a booking is made. Holding a valid class pass does not automatically reserve a place in class.

This ensures spaces are allocated fairly and that the practice space remains calm, contained, and unhurried.

If you experience difficulty booking online, you are welcome to contact me and I can assist with the booking where possible.

Cancellation

To help keep the space steady and supportive for everyone, I kindly ask that classes are cancelled at least 12 hours in advance if you’re unable to attend.

Late cancellations (within 12 hours) will be charged in full, as spaces are limited and it’s often difficult to refill them at short notice.

Bookings close 1 hour before the class begins, so please allow yourself a little time to reserve your space.

Thank you for helping to care for this small, intentional studio and the community we’re building together
